Senior Director / VP – Cybersecurity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Consultant with a proven track record in OT and IT security, particularly within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, regional regulatory knowledge, and strong consulting experience from leading firms Big 4 or Big 3 consulting firms.

You will work on high-impact government and critical infrastructure projects across the GCC, playing a key role in shaping national cybersecurity strategies and operational frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver cybersecurity consulting engagements across OT and IT environments.
• Advise clients in the energy, telecom, and government sectors on cybersecurity posture, ICS protection, and risk mitigation.
• Contribute to the development of national cybersecurity strategies and regulatory compliance frameworks (UAE, KSA, Oman, Qatar).
• Support the design and operationalization of cybersecurity centers of excellence and national security programs.
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and government entities with clarity and confidence.
• Provide subject matter expertise on GCC cybersecurity regulations and best practices.
• Lead technical teams and mentor junior consultants in multi-disciplinary project environments.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, preferably with Big 4 or global consulting firms.
• Strong command over Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security.
• Deep exposure to energy, telecom, and critical infrastructure domains.
• Demonstrated experience with GCC cybersecurity regulations and standards.
• Proven contributions to national-level policy or cybersecurity governance initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a structured and calm demeanor.
• Experience leading or supporting the establishment of national cybersecurity centers is a strong plus.
