Head of Information Technology

One of our clients in the insurance space is seeking for an experienced Head of IT to lead their technology function and shape a secure, high-performing, and future-ready IT environment that supports strategic business growth.

This executive role oversees the full spectrum of IT — including infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application development — and plays a critical role in aligning technology initiatives with business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a long-term technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migration and API-led architecture.
• Oversee application modernization, data initiatives, and automation programs.
• Manage infrastructure across Windows/Linux environments and Nutanix platforms.
• Ensure system uptime, security, performance, and compliance.
• Lead internal/external IT audits and asset management.
• Develop and implement a robust cybersecurity framework.
• Collaborate closely with risk and compliance teams to meet governance standards
• Lead AI initiatives and data governance to enable smarter business decisions.
• Drive RPA and DevOps practices across the enterprise.
• Build and mentor a high-performing IT team.
• Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify technology opportunities that deliver business value.
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO and executive team on emerging trends.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in Insurance or financial services
• Proven track record in large-scale digital transformation, legacy modernization, and cloud strategies.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure, APIs, DevOps, and enterprise systems.
• Certifications such as CISSP, AWS, or Azure Cloud Architect are highly desirable.
• Strategic thinker with strong stakeholder management and vendor oversight experience.
