Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure web gateway solutions using Zscaler and Blue Coat technologies.
• Configure and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Blue Coat ProxySG and Content Analysis Systems.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve the performance and security of the network and proxy infrastructure.
• Work closely with the security and infrastructure teams to enforce security policies and ensure compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis on proxy and internet access-related issues.
• Manage change requests and incident resolution following ITIL processes.
• Document architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and IT teams on Zscaler and Blue Coat-related issues.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering or a similar role.
• Proven experience with Zscaler technologies (ZIA, ZPA).
• Strong expertise in Blue Coat/Symantec ProxySG, including policy configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, DNS).
• Familiarity with firewalls, routing, switching, and other security appliances.
• Experience with security incident handling and response.
• Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Zscaler Certified Professional (ZCP) or Symantec Blue Coat certifications.
• Experience with SD-WAN, VPN technologies, and cloud networking.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and logging systems (Splunk, QRadar, etc.).
