IT Security Test Engineer

Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for an IT Security Test Engineer located in Muscat. The IT Security Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing security testing strategies and solutions. This includes performing vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits across various systems and applications. The role will also involve collaborating with internal teams to identify and mitigate security risks as well as staying updated with the latest security threats and trends.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Cybersecurity, Network Security, and Information Security
• Experience in Application Security and Information Technology
• Pen Test Tools: Kali, OWASP, Burp Suite.
• Web application penetration testing
• Mobile application penetration testing
• Web, Desktop & Mobile App API level penetration testing
• Source code vulnerability analysis
• Serious problem-solving skills
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate security testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience in the technology consulting industry is a plus
