Business Data Analyst

A leading multi-manager investment firm is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join its discretionary macro and fixed income COO team. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that combines technical skill with business insight to drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

You’ll collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers, Analysts, Quants, and internal teams such as Technology, Risk, Analytics, and Business Development to:

• Build data-driven tools and dashboards to support investment and business decisions.
• Develop performance analytics using Python, SQL, Power BI, and APIs.
• Design and manage technology solutions alongside internal developers and market data teams.
• Prepare dashboards and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Support automation and process improvement initiatives across the platform.
• Analyze investment performance and generate insights to inform strategy.
• Define, prioritize, and manage system requirements and development workflows.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in the investment management or investment banking industry.
• Strong understanding of global financial markets and investment processes.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, and REST APIs.
• Ability to build and communicate performance analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A process-driven, collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams.
