Senior iOS engineer

Join one of Australia's most successful Application businesses as a Senior iOS Engineer! They own several iOS Applications that have received multiple awards and have been some of the highest ranked Apps in the App store for a number of years. They are looking to double the size of the business over the next few years. This position will start as fully remote role in Sydney, but will transition to a hybrid role from 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Solve complex and unique technical problems.
• Work with designers to turn prototypes into shippable product.
• Create custom controls, aesthetically pleasing layouts and seamless animations.
• Protect quality, ensure performance and show care for our users.
• Deliver major features to millions of artists and designers.

Requirements:

• A deep understanding of Swift.
• An eye for design and attention to detail.
• Experience with UIKit and iOS development.
• Hands-on experience shipping high quality software with responsive, interactive UI.
• Experience debugging, profiling and resolving performance problems.
• Experience creating custom UIKit controls (nice to have).
• Experience developing with AppKit for macOS (nice to have).
• Experience creating creating powerful APIs and libraries (nice to have).
