Avant Power is part of the Avant Group, a Finnish family-owned company and the global market leader in compact loaders.

Avant Power was established in 2022 to manufacture electric batteries for Avant’s electric loaders. The company has a turnover of approximately €4 million and employs 15 people and both product development and manufacturing are 100% based in Finland.

Software Developer

⚡Your main tasks

Your role focuses on embedded systems in the field of storing energy. Some other key words that will be important in your position are battery technologies, artificial intelligence, automation, software and product development.

Your work is related to OptiGrid -project, which is the newest project at Avant Power. The main focus is to develop a system that can intelligently forecast consumption and production of electricity and act accordingly.

⚡Who are we looking for?

The person we are looking for has:

• Previous experience on embedded systems and software development
• Proactive, independent working style
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Strong skills in embedded systems and an independent working style

We appreciate, if you have experience in the following:

• Energy sector or electricity markets and battery technology
• Previous experience of C, C++ or PLC
