Embedded Software Engineer – Edge AI for Smart Semiconductor Devices

We’re looking, on behalf of one of our client, for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our clients hybrid team in Luxembourg, working on Edge AI solutions embedded within semiconductor devices used for smart consumer and industrial applications.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and optimize embedded software implementing Edge AI models on microcontrollers and SoCs.
• Collaborate with hardware and data science teams to integrate and deploy ML inference pipelines.
• Profile and optimize resource-constrained AI workloads for real-time embedded use cases.
• Participate in system-level design reviews and continuous integration testing.
• Support firmware development and debugging to ensure robust, scalable AI-enabled products.

You Bring

• 3+ years of experience
• Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with TinyML frameworks like TensorFlow Lite Micro or Edge Impulse.
• Familiarity with ARM Cortex-M or similar embedded platforms.
• Understanding of embedded system constraints: memory, power, and compute.
• Experience with real-time operating systems or bare-metal development.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to semiconductor design workflows or chip integration.
• Experience with hardware acceleration (DSPs, NPUs).
• Knowledge of industry standards for embedded AI and IoT security.
