Job Title: Splunk DevOps Engineer

Duration: 12+ months contract (Plus Extensions)

Location: Luxembourg (Onsite)


Role Overview:

  • As a Splunk DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing application solutions both in the cloud and on-prem, as well as participating in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the DevOps space.
  • This position assumes design and development activities as well as support for operational teams.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with Product Owner, Platform Team, Solution Architects, and development teams for continuous improvement.
  • Developing interface simulators and designing automated module deployments.
  • Completing code and scripting against APIs, as well as resolving product implementation errors.
  • Participate in research and development to deliver complex automation solutions.
  • Coordinate the technical integration with the internal IT tooling.
  • Work with the project managers using the SAFE Agile methodology.
  • Customer-oriented with the ability to receive and use constructive criticism.


Essential Skills:

Technical & Professional Expertise

  • You are motivated and have a passion for new technologies.
  • Solid experience in designing and implementing complex DevOps solutions.
  • Enhance and drive automation and "Infrastructure as Code" delivery.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software and infrastructure issues, and develop tools/systems for task automation.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development (Ansible, Python, Shell/Bash, Groovy).
  • Solid experience in designing and implementing complex DevOps solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of Ansible, Python, programming languages, Bash, Groovy, SED, and AWK.
  • Good knowledge of Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gitlab, HC Vault - Basic knowledge of Splunk.
  • Experience working on Linux and Windows-based infrastructure.
  • General knowledge of databases, middleware, and Kubernetes.
  • Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
  • Good knowledge of web services development.
  • Excellent troubleshooting.
  • Fluency in English (Mandatory).
  • EU Citizenship (Mandatory).


Additional Requirements

  • Experience with AAP (Ansible Automation Platform) is a plus.
  • Experience in a medium to large IT environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of French and/or other EU languages is a plus.
