Encora Spark - Software Engineer Intern

Program Description

This internship is designed to help you grow your skills and knowledge with guidance from experienced mentors, giving you practical, hands-on experience as you begin your journey in Software Engineering.

You'll explore key areas such as Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, .NET 9 and Angular 20, Microservices architecture, Azure/AWS, unit testing, Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization and orchestration, the project lifecycle, and Scrum/Agile methodologies.

What do I need to be an internship candidate?

• Be a student in an IT-related field such as Software Development, Data Science, or a similar discipline, and/or have some foundational experience with programming. Be sure to include any personal projects, as well as any bootcamps, workshops, or courses you've completed, in your resume.
• Great command of the English language.  
• Have at least 30 hours available per week.  
• Please include all the technical projects you've built in your resume or GitHub profile, if any.
• Successfully pass the selection process. 
  
  

Details 

Duration: 11 weeks (August 18th – October 31st)

• Schedule: 30 man-hours/week/student, presence at the local Encora office.
  
  

Structure:

• Weeks 1-4: lessons, with classes and exercises, coordinated by selected technical leads & HCU;
• Weeks 5-10: team project, applying and diving into details; all work, activities & mentorship to be completed under the selected technical leads & HCUs reviews;
• Week 11: final reviews, tests, demo sessions, project presentation and feedback.
