Hybrid work/ 2 days in a week from Warsaw client office (Must)

Job Title: Lead DevOps

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The DevOps Lead Engineer will own the ideation, design, development, enhancement and continuous improvement of our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment CI/CD Pipelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Ideation and design - 50% of time:

* Evaluate our current CI Pipelines

* Design new solutions

* Design, develop and constantly improve existing CI/CD Pipelines

* DevOps Engineer will design, develop and constantly improve existing java micro services and UI (React) build Pipelines

* Partner with development team to improve development efficiencies

* Work with architecture team to ideate and design infrastructure, environment, and CI/CD improvements

* Groom stories with the team

Development Work - 50% of time:

* Enhance existing java microservices and UI (React) Pipelines to integrate automated end to end testing improving our confidence in every deployment

* Partner with our automation framework team to create CI solutions that improve automated testing

* As a DevOps Engineer, you will enhance existing SonarQube, Checkmarx capabilities in builds

* Ideate, design and implement enhanced production monitoring across all of our products

* Create new CI/CD Pipelines for new projects

* Implement industry best practices for deployment, monitoring and alerting

* Leads Story grooming and planning sessions with DevOps Team

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

* 6+ Years experience

* Independent self-starting problem solver with a creative passion to develop DevOps solutions with a variety of tools, strategies and techniques

* Design documentation skills

* A DevOps thought leader that can contribute to the constant improvement of our processes

* Experience deploying micro services and UI Apps.

* Working knowledge of branching and merging code in GitHub

* Strong working knowledge of developing CI/CD Pipelines; and strong working knowledge with Jenkins and Github Actions

* Working understanding of AWS Virtual Private Clouds and AWS Networking

* Strong design documentation and communication skills

* A desire to -code- automated Pipeline and AWS solutions vs. building them one off

* Strong working experience of integrating automated end to end testing into CI/CD Pipelines

* Knowledge of industry best practices for DevOps in a Cloud Environment

* Experience working in an Agile environment

* Willingness to mentor and advise other engineering team members

* A solid understanding and passion for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
