Senior Data Analyst

My client, a large Romanian company, an are currently seeking several Data Analyst/Scientists with experience in Python and Ideally GCP for a 12 month project, focusing on the development of a brand new function. You would be working in a highly capable product team with a large degree of autonomy.

This role is fully remote, but applicants must be located in Romania. Rates between €25 for Juniors up to €50 per hour for senior profiles, depending on experience.

We are looking for both Junior, Mid Level and some Senior professionals for these positions;

Required key competencies and qualifications:

• Building and maintaining dashboards tailored to the target audience to track key KPIs and in-depth reports;

• Digging into data to uncover new use cases and identify potential areas for improvement;

• Identifying and assisting with resolving data quality issues for accurate tracking and reporting;

• Collaborating closely with product teams and stakeholders to enable data-driven processes;

• Developing new KPIs as needed;

• Contribute your in-depth knowledge of data science methodologies, algorithms, and tools. You will guide your team in the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions that address complex business challenges.

• Working collaboratively with various teams throughout the broader organization;

• Having strong analytical and conceptual skills;

• Proven experience with visualizing data in an insightful way for the right audience with Looker (preferable), Microstrategy, Tableau or other dashboarding platforms;

• Basic statistics (e.g., knowledge of basic summary statistics, outliers and outlier detection);

• Good understanding of Google Cloud Platform analytical technologies and IAM concept;

• Expertise in data science and machine learning (classification, regression, and clustering), with a strong understanding of optimization and additional understanding of causal inference, data engineering practices, and data visualization techniques.

• Strong knowledge and experience using SQL (BigQuery) and Python (with scikit-learn and TensorFlow, PyTorch, Polars).

• Self-aware, positive, and strongly committed to customer orientation;

• Very good fluency in English (written and verbal).
