Artificial Intelligence Engineer

AI/ML Developer

Hybrid: Krakow, Poland

Principal Responsibilities:

• Build production-ready ML models focused on content extraction and classification from images and text-based sources.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver iterative solutions.
• Design and develop Python/ML/OCR-based components that solve real business problems.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, including deployment, testing, monitoring, and production support.
• Continuously create, test, and iterate on new and existing features/products to improve accuracy, performance, and scalability.

Required Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Document AI / Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) using both traditional ML/DL approaches and Generative AI techniques.
• Proven ability to use open-source AI/ML tools to drive measurable business outcomes.
• Proficiency in Python with production-grade deployment experience.
• Solid background in:
• Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), OCR, and Image Processing.
• Frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, spaCy, OpenCV, Regex, or equivalents.
• Experience delivering secure, resilient, and scalable code to production, with attention to cybersecurity and API robustness.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL for data storage and querying.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly:
