UI/UX Designer (225-701)

Job Description

A UI/UX Designer is a pivotal role within the digital development team, tasked with crafting seamless and engaging user experiences and interfaces. The role involves understanding the psychology of user interaction and blending it with creative design aesthetics. UI/UX Designers work closely with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to ensure the design is aligned with the company's goals and customer expectations. They are responsible for researching and analyzing user requirements, producing wireframes and prototypes, and refining final designs. Candidates for this role should possess a strong design portfolio and have a deep understanding of user-centric design principles. They should be proactive in suggesting design improvements, passionate about usability, and eager to stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and tools.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze user needs and behaviors to inform design solutions.
• Create wireframes, visual designs, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented correctly.
• Develop and maintain design wireframes, mockups, and specifications as needed.
• Conduct usability tests and gather feedback to drive iterative improvements.
• Use graphic design software to produce aesthetically pleasing digital designs.
• Ensure designs adhere to brand standards and enhance user experience and engagement.
• Work closely with product managers to align design with project goals and timelines.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, and propose and execute effective solutions.
• Stay informed about the latest digital design trends and emerging technologies.
• Lead design presentations and translate feedback into tangible improvements.
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback on design projects.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing designs.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar software.
• Experience in creating responsive and adaptive designs for various platforms.
• Strong understanding of the principles of user-centered design and usability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Good communication skills to clearly present design ideas and collaborate with teams.
