Senior ML Engineer

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, train, and deploy high-performance computer vision models for our warehouse picking stations.
  • Serve as a key technical point of contact for our teams in Norway, helping to integrate AI/ML solutions into our products.
  • Implement and refine ML models for projects including robot routing and analytics platforms.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring timely execution from initial concept through to deployment.
  • Maintain clear communication on project status and technical findings with stakeholders, including your manager in a different time zone and global Research and Development organization.


KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience building and deploying machine learning systems.
  • Strong experience in Computer Vision, Python, SQL, and a major deep learning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
  • Proven experience using a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for model training or deployment.
  • Experience with the engineering best practices required to build and maintain production-level ML systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
  • Familiarity with broader machine learning concepts or quantitative databases is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English is a requirement.
