Head of Information Security

We are seeking an experienced Head of Information Security to lead our information security consultancy unit, focusing on delivering expert advisory and consultancy services to clients across various industries. In this role, you will manage a highly skilled internal team of security architects, specialists, and penetration testers, ensuring that all client engagements are conducted at the highest standard.

Your responsibility will be to help clients strengthen their security postures through expert advice on risk management, compliance, security best practices, and threat mitigation. This is a strategic leadership position requiring a deep understanding of information security, leadership and team management, financial management and exceptional client relationship management skills.

What You Will Do

Client Consultancy & Advisory:

• Provide expert advice on information security topics like risk assessments and compliance.
• Guide clients on best practices to enhance security frameworks.
• Manage client engagements, ensuring clear communication and quality deliverables.
  
  

Strategic Unit Development

• Identify growth opportunities and optimize services within the consultancy unit.
• Collaborate with leadership on future direction and new offerings.
  
  

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead a team of security professionals, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
• Promote continuous learning and innovation within the team.
  
  

Financial Management

• Oversee the unit’s budget and financial performance.
• Analyze financial data to meet objectives and targets.
  
  

Service Development & Optimization

• Evaluate and improve consultancy services to align with client needs.
• Develop standard operating procedures for consistency.
  
  

Client Relationship Management

• Build strong client relationships and manage expectations.
• Assist clients with security regulations and compliance standards.
  
  

Thought Leadership & Market Positioning

• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends to keep services cutting-edge.
• Represent the company at industry events and contribute to knowledge sharing.
  
  

What We Expect From You

• Higher education in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security, with significant experience in a consultancy role or client-facing environment.
• Proven track record of successfully leading information security teams and delivering high-quality consultancy services.
• Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, DORA, MiCA, PCI-DSS, GDPR).
• Strong leadership abilities, with proven experience managing technical teams.
• Client-oriented approach with excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and achieving financial targets.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Experience advising clients on regulatory compliance and security frameworks.
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, OSCP or similar certifications would be an advantage.
