Network Engineer

Job Summary

We're searching for an exceptional individual to elevate network capabilities for one of our innovative client who has pioneered the landscape of early days cellphones to now investing in their R&D site with emerging technologies on 5G, Cloud and other patented technological advancements. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the backbone of the network operations, from architecting scalable private cloud networks (HLD/LLD expertise with HUAWEI CLOUD Stack is a huge plus!) to meticulously configuring cutting-edge network devices. You'll be the guardian of our network's health, leveraging your keen eye for detail to troubleshoot intricate issues, fortify our defenses with advanced security measures (firewall policies, IDS/IPS, DDoS protection, Zero Trust), and seamlessly integrate with our cloud platforms.

Job Responsbilities

Network Architecture Design & Implementation

• Proficient in network architecture design (HLD/LLD) for private cloud environments (e.g., HUAWEI CLOUD Stack).
• Experienced in designing network partitioning (VPC), subnetting, ACLs, VLAN, VXLAN, SDN, etc.
• Capable of network planning and equipment selection based on business requirements.

Device Deployment & Configuration

• Familiar with installation, configuration, and tuning of mainstream network devices (e.g., Huawei, Cisco, firewalls, load balancers).
• Able to configure protocols such as VPN, BGP, OSPF, VRRP, etc.

Network Security

• Proficient in firewall policies, IDS/IPS, DDoS protection, Zero Trust Architecture, etc.
• Able to implement network security configurations and hardening per compliance requirements.

Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization

• Skilled in diagnosing network connectivity issues (e.g., link failures, packet loss, latency).
• Experienced in using network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Huawei eSight) for analysis.

Cloud Platform Integration

• Familiar with utilizing and integrating cloud network resources (e.g., load balancing, elastic IP, security groups).
• Capable of integrated deployment and debugging with other resources (compute, storage).

Role Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ of industry practical experience
• Relevant certifications will be highly preferred and advantageous as candidate (Comptia, Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cloud)
• Strong curiosity and desire for continuous learning to stay updated on emerging technologies, industry best practices and security standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to multiple stakeholders including technical and non-technical and collaborate effectively.
• Ability to stay organized to navigate the dynamic environment while meeting deadlines,
• Proven knack for dissecting complex technical problems and delivering effective solutions
