ABOUT THE TEAM

If you are a techie, you belong in our Technology Team that builds scalable, high-performance platforms for our customers using up-to-date and efficient technologies.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Designing, managing and troubleshooting of network security technologies, including but not limited to intrusion prevention system (IPS), web application firewall (WAF), SSL visibility products (SSLi), DDoS protection solutions according to best practices
• Managing and providing engineering support to the Network Detection and Response (NDR) and network security modules of Endpoint Deteciton Response (EDR) solutions in infrastructure of entire Trendyol and its subsidiaries
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the security level of the existing network infrastructure by collaborating with other infrastructure teams.
• Keeping up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to network security infrastructure
• Researching, developing and implementing new technologies suitable for the network security infrastructure
• Ensuring that daily operations are facilitated through automation

Qualities We Are Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Network Security Engineer.
• Previously owned in designing, implementing, and maintaining network security operations
• Having knowledge on local and wide area network protocols such as dynamic routing protocols, PBR, Vlan, ECMP etc...
• Solid understanding of OSI, TCP/IP models
• Familiarity with Http protocol, knowledge about attack vectors and defense methods
• Familiarity with encryption algorithms, cryptographic protocols, authentication protocols and secure communication practices.
• Having knowledge on cloud networking concepts
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and integration purposes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Experience on IAC tools is a plus
• Having knowledge on container or virtualization platforms is a plus
• Relevant certifications are plus
