About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic Investcentre team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to enhancing our award-winning investment platform by designing and delivering high-quality, scalable, and modular frontend solutions. Qualifications

• Proven expertise in building modular and reusable components for Single Page Applications using frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, or Svelte.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES5/6 and above) with a solid understanding of modern JavaScript features and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly GitHub, BitBucket, or GitLab.
• Hands-on experience with UI frameworks like Bootstrap, Tailwind, or Material Design.
• Familiarity with frontend styling methodologies including BEM, CSS modules, or CSS-in-JS solutions.
• Knowledge of frontend tooling, especially Node.js and npm, to streamline development workflows.
• Experience in writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code quality and robustness.
• Interest and knowledge in asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures, including tools like RxJS, NgRx, or Redux.
• Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, Nightwatch, WebdriverIO, or Protractor.
• Understanding of Web APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Practical experience in resolving cross-platform inconsistencies across browsers like IE11, Safari, Firefox, and Chrome on Windows or Mac.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices to facilitate continuous integration and deployment.
• Strong understanding of web performance principles to optimize page load times and responsiveness.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive with a passion for technology and innovation.
• Prior experience in e-commerce or financial services sectors is advantageous.

• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest frontend trends, tools, and technologies to continually enhance our platform.
• Contribute to the refinement of development processes, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members when necessary.
