About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Mobile Developer to join a rapidly expanding company dedicated to creating impactful software solutions that contribute to environmental sustainability. This remote role offers the flexibility of working from home with the requirement to visit the Crewe office once a month for team meetings and strategic planning sessions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying innovative Android applications, supporting the company's goal to launch four new products within the year. As an integral part of a small but passionate team, you will have the opportunity to influence product development directly and contribute to projects that have a real-world impact.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Kotlin, with a proven track record of developing and publishing Android applications. You will collaborate closely with the R&D team to translate ideas into functional, user-friendly applications, adhering to best practices in software architecture and design. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in Android application development, with a portfolio of published apps on the Google Play Store.
• Proficiency in Kotlin is essential; familiarity with Java is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Deep knowledge of clean architecture, MVVM, SOLID principles, and various software design patterns.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and other modern Android development tools and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly and succinctly.
  
  

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
