Role: Principal Project Manager - Travel and Expense Management System
Daily Rate: $900-$1000 + super
COntract Length: 12-month contract
Location: Sydney CBD/WFH Flex

We're looking for a seasoned Principal Project Manager to spearhead the delivery of a new, multi-agency Travel and Expense Management System across NSW Government departments.

In this pivotal role, you'll lead the end-to-end implementation of a large-scale, complex project that will consolidate platforms, optimise commercial arrangements, and drive process improvements.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead development and rollout of an integrated Travel and Expense Management System (including FCM Online Travel Request & Approval, PCard, reimbursements, CTA, VCard, and automated accruals)
• Manage interdependencies, risks, and resources across diverse stakeholders
• Oversee business cases, governance, project plans, and reporting to ensure quality delivery on time and within budget
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, providing expert advice and navigating emerging challenges

About You:

• Demonstrated experience delivering complex, cross-agency projects, ideally within NSW Government
• Proven track record in implementing new systems - experience with Travel and Expense Management Systems is highly desirable
• Strong leadership, governance, risk management, and benefits realisation skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
