Senior UI Designer

Job Title: Senior UI Designer

Location: Brussels area (2–3 days/week remote); occasional travel to Berlin

Role Summary:

The Senior UI Designer is responsible for leading complex design projects and shaping the overall design strategy. This role involves contributing to and enhancing the design system, validating new components, and challenging design decisions of peers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with UX Researchers to deliver wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs using Figma
• Present design ideas and solutions to stakeholders
• Communicate design concepts and prototypes with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Developers
• Facilitate ideation workshops and co-design sessions with business and users
• Define interaction models and evaluate success using measurable criteria
• Create storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
• Actively contribute to UX Chapter activities (e.g., feedback sessions, knowledge sharing)

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in UI Design, Interaction Design, and Information Architecture in Agile environments
• Strong knowledge of UI patterns, visual design principles, and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Figma and Miro
• Experience working with and contributing to design systems
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, problem-solving, and UI solutions (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Bonus: experience on Sitecore XM Cloud projects
