AI Solution Manager | €10M+ VC-Backed Fintech Scale-Up | Product + AI Strategy | Cologne (Hybrid)

AI Futures are exclusively partnering with a fast-growing financial technology scale-up based in Cologne, backed by over €10M in venture capital. With a mission to transform how financial institutions leverage AI, the company is building cutting-edge solutions for risk scoring, customer intelligence, and operational automation.

This is a hybrid strategic-technical role, combining product thinking with applied AI. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, product, data, and client success teams to shape and deliver scalable AI solutions with measurable business impact.

Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite in Cologne

Up to €100k total package

The Role

• Own and deliver AI-driven features across key fintech use cases (e.g. risk models, fraud detection, customer segmentation).
• Lead technical projects from prototype to production—balancing speed, scalability, and stakeholder needs.
• Act as a product/tech interface between AI engineers, business teams, and clients.
• Assess and apply emerging technologies (e.g. LLMs, tabular models, forecasting) where relevant.
• Ensure timely delivery, QA, and documentation of AI workflows.
• Evangelize AI internally and support team upskilling.

The Candidate

• 3+ years experience delivering applied AI/ML solutions, ideally in finance or SaaS environments.
• Some technical knowledge of the follow; Python, Data Science libraries, Cloud (GCP or Azure a plus).
• Solid understanding of supervised learning, anomaly detection, or probabilistic models.
• Communication with both tech teams and business stakeholders.
• Languages: German (English a bonus).
