As an Android Developer, you will design and develop modular, scalable infotainment applications for Android Automotive OS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance, drive innovation, and ensure a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable infotainment applications on Android Automotive OS.
• Create reusable design patterns and libraries for application development.
• Work closely with product managers and UI/UX designers to define application features.
• Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Conduct code reviews and follow continuous integration and development best practices.
• Develop and execute test code to ensure application quality and robustness.
• Design and implement application updates and releases.
• Investigate the Android Automotive OS codebase for improved application integration.
• Develop sample and demo applications utilizing the latest technology.
• Stay updated with industry trends through workshops, conferences, and talks.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an Android application developer.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Android Jetpack APIs, Android NDK, and JNI.
• Strong understanding of Android design principles, application interface guidelines, performance optimization, and testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with embedded Android framework services.
• Experience developing mapping, multimedia, and Bluetooth solutions is a plus.
• Knowledge of push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging.
• Strong coding, debugging, and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
