Frontend Developer

INTRODUCTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Senior Frontend Developer with a strong background in secure web application development to join our growing team in Istanbul Maltepe. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mission-critical web applications for the defense industry, ensuring robust and user-centric solutions. You will work on challenging projects that require deep understanding of frontend architecture, cross-platform compatibility, and integration with backend systems. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop responsive, cross-platform web applications (desktop and mobile) using React, Tailwind CSS, and DaisyUI.
• Integrate frontend components with backend systems via REST APIs.
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless data flow and system architecture.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and security for defense-grade standards.
• Follow feature branch methodology in GitLab for task tracking and code management.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices for maintainable, scalable code.
• Troubleshoot bugs, analyze user requirements, and iterate on solutions.
• Document frontend workflows and collaborate with stakeholders to refine user experiences.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3–5 years of experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency in React.js, Tailwind CSS.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON data formats.
• Mastery of Git and GitLab for version control, including feature branch workflows.
• Familiarity with cross-platform web development (desktop and mobile, but not SPAs or hybrid frameworks).
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Professional English proficiency for technical communication and documentation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins) to automate builds and deployments.
• Testing expertise: Writing unit tests (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and integration/e2e tests (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).

PREFERRED/PLUS IF YOU HAVE

• Experience with security best practices (e.g., XSS, secure API calls).
• Knowledge of performance optimization (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting).
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of web applications.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Exposure to containerization tools (e.g., Docker) for frontend workflows.
