Android Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced mobile applications for Android platforms using Kotlin.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with backend teams and other stakeholders to implement robust APIs and user experiences.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Ensure code quality, best practices, and adherence to architectural patterns.

Must-Have Skills:

• Native Android development using Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture, including how it works internally.
• Strong knowledge of Coroutines and parallelism/concurrency in Kotlin.
• Experience working on large-scale modules and mobile app projects.
• Deep understanding of SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with Combine framework, StateObject, ObservedObject, ViewBuilders (esp. if experienced with SwiftUI concepts).
• Good grasp of concepts like:
• Class vs Struct vs Actor
• Delegation vs Notification
• Protocols and their usage
• Defer keyword and its applications

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Exposure to iOS (Swift) or Flutter is a plus.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with cross-platform development tools or APIs.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles for mobile.
