2. JOB PURPOSE:
We are looking for a results-driven Product Manager with proven experience in Value-Added Services (VAS) and content-rich digital applications, particularly in gaming, entertainment, and user engagement platforms. This role involves full ownership of app lifecycle management, content and game curation, CRM execution, and performance optimization.
The Product Manager will play a central role in aligning product features with user behavior insights, market needs, and VAS monetization strategies. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including creative, data, and technical units.
3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Description
- Lead the full lifecycle of mobile/web applications, from concept to launch, with a strong focus on VAS monetization and user retention.
- Curate and manage game and content libraries, working with partners and content teams to ensure variety, quality, and relevance.
- Define and maintain a feature roadmap that enhances user experience, engagement, and commercial outcomes.
- Oversee day-to-day app operations, including performance monitoring, bug resolution, UI/UX testing, and store optimization.
- Implement and manage CRM strategies, including push notifications, in-app messages, and segmented campaigns.
- Drive content curation, ensuring timely and localised in-app editorial planning and social moderation.
- Coordinate with moderation teams to maintain a compliant and engaging user environment.
- Collaborate with data analysts to track KPIs across game engagement, social interactions, VR experiences, and loyalty/reward usage.
- Translate data insights into product features, A/B testing opportunities, and content positioning.
- Ensure close coordination with legal, finance, tech, and creative teams for timely and accurate product rollouts.
4. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
- Reports to the CBO.
- Collaborates closely with content teams, CRM specialists, UX/UI designers, QA, and data analysts.
- Interfaces with VAS partners, content providers, aggregators, and platform owners.
- Coordinates with customer support and moderation teams for user experience enhancement.
5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certification in Agile, Scrum, or Product Strategy is an advantage.
Minimum Experience:
- 5–8 years in product management with strong exposure to VAS and content-rich applications.
- Experience in managing digital products, content platforms, or gaming ecosystems.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Deep understanding of VAS business models and revenue optimization.
- Knowledge of mobile apps, CRM tools (e.g., Braze, Firebase), content moderation systems, and app store operations.
- Strong analytics mindset with the ability to work closely with data teams.
- Experience with dashboards, KPIs (retention, DAU, ARPU, engagement), and app performance metrics.
- Excellent project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
