Project Manager - AOS & Airport Systems

We are looking to hire a Senior Analyst – Operations Business Systems (AOS) who will be responsible for leading the implementation, integration, and operational management of mission-critical airport systems across terminal, airfield, and baggage domains for our client based in Dubai, one of the largest companies in the region.


This position is a contract role with an initial duration until the end of the year and is renewable.


The role sits within the Digital Products & Services Department and reports directly to the Head – Operations Business Systems. We are looking for a passionate Senior Analyst to deliver and maintain cutting-edge technologies that enable safe, efficient, and seamless operations, while driving the adoption of AI/ML-powered systems for optimized decision-making and passenger experiences. You should also have experience in systems, IT, and digital transformation programs.


Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, deployment, and integration of airport systems (terminal operations, airfield management, baggage handling).
  • Define and align technical and operational requirements with strategic goals and capacity planning.
  • Oversee system performance to ensure continuous 24/7 operational functionality.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external solution providers for timely and quality system implementation.
  • Develop SOPs, incident response plans, and business continuity strategies.
  • Drive adoption of AI, ML, and automation tools to improve predictive insights, decision support, and passenger flow optimization.
  • Ensure system interoperability across key domains including security, baggage, and flight operations.
  • Manage lifecycle upgrades, ensure alignment with cybersecurity, compliance, and industry standards.
  • Lead documentation, testing, and training activities for system deployments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, AOCC, IT, baggage, and airside teams to enable real-time operational awareness.


Knowledge, skills & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Aviation Management (Master’s preferred).
  • 7–10 years of total experience; 5–7 years in relevant airport systems/aviation IT.
  • In-depth understanding of:
  • Terminal systems (CUTE/CUPPS, CUSS, FIDS, BRS, Security Screening)
  • Airfield systems (AODB, RMS, Airport Surveillance)
  • Baggage systems (BHS, BRS, SCADA, DCS integration)
  • Experience implementing AI/ML in operational systems and driving digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with IATA, ICAO, ACI standards, and ITIL frameworks.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
