UI/UX Designer

Title: UI/UX Designer

Location: Canada (100% Remote)

About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to help us craft intuitive, engaging, and impactful digital experiences. You’ll play a key role in turning complex requirements into thoughtful, human-centered designs that drive business and user outcomes.

As a designer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, strategists, and other designers — from concept through to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end user experiences for web and/or mobile applications
• Translate product goals and user insights into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
• Conduct and/or leverage user research, usability testing, and data to inform design decisions
• Create and maintain design systems, UI kits, and documentation
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
• Advocate for user needs and accessibility at every stage of the design process
• Present and articulate design decisions clearly to stakeholders
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to evolving team design practices

Requirements:

• 2–5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, especially complex or scalable interfaces
• Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.)
• Experience with user-centered design methods, including research and prototyping
• Solid understanding of interaction design, visual hierarchy, and accessibility
• Familiarity with front-end development basics (HTML/CSS/JS) is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Comfortable working in agile, fast-paced environments

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for enterprise platforms or complex systems
• Familiarity with motion/animation tools (e.g. After Effects, Principle)
• Exposure to design thinking workshops or facilitation
• Experience working with global or cross-functional teams
