Experience Level

This is a contractual role for engineers with 3–6 years of hands-on iOS development experience using Swift.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer who values clean, test-driven code and
embraces Extreme Programming (XP) principles. At Incubyte, we prioritize software
craftsmanship, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

Technical Debt Reduction – Improve and stabilize existing applications through refactoring and optimization.
Test-Driven Development (TDD) – Write unit and integration tests before implementing code to ensure quality.
Clean, Maintainable Code – Develop code that is self-explanatory, efficient, and scalable.
Frequent Releases – Contribute to small, incremental, and high-quality releases.
Pair Programming – Work collaboratively to enhance code quality and knowledge sharing.
Code Reviews – Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high standards.
Full-Stack Ownership – Work across the iOS application, infrastructure, and DevOps pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and performance.
Product Collaboration – Work closely with product teams to design, develop, and roll out new features efficiently.
Continuous Learning – Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to improve overall development quality.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Proficiency in iOS development using Swift.
Experience with native iOS development, including app migration to newer iOS versions.

Technical Expertise In

Swift, Xcode, Objective-C
Firebase, Cocoapods
Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Experience working in an Agile/XP environment with an emphasis on continuous integration and delivery.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize applications for
performance and scalability.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
