Software Engineer – ML Serving & Analytics

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs for deploying and serving machine learning models in production
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to operationalize models and ensure performance, reliability, and scalability
• Design and implement data transformations and pipelines to support reporting, dashboarding, and decision-making
• Write clean, efficient SQL for analytics, dashboards, and ad hoc investigations
• Monitor and debug issues across systems, from data pipelines to model-serving infrastructure
• Continuously improve system reliability, observability, and maintainability through thoughtful engineering and automation
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing ideas to simplify, scale, and improve our systems
• Explore how things work behind the scenes, proactively identifying and addressing inefficiencies or technical debt
  
  
  

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• Strong software engineering skills focused on maintainable and solid design
• Experience with deploying machine learning models into production environments
• Solid understanding of data workflows, including building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries
• A naturally curious mindset — you enjoy digging into unfamiliar systems and figuring out how things work
• Growth-oriented and self-driven — you like learning new tools, technologies, and patterns
• Bonus: Familiarity with data warehousing, metrics layers, or observability tools
