Full Stack PHP Engineer

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with solid experience in modern PHP development (Laravel) and strong understanding of CI/CD practices and Docker. The ideal candidate enjoys working with both legacy and modern codebases and is comfortable contributing across the stack to build scalable and maintainable applications.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using PHP 8+ and Laravel 11+.
• Maintain and refactor legacy code, identifying opportunities for modernization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend and frontend components.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Docker and modern DevOps practices.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor other developers.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices.

Technology Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with PHP and Laravel frameworks (Laravel 11+ preferred).
• Solid understanding of relational databases, especially MySQL and SQLite, including query optimization.
• Experience working with legacy systems and leading modernization initiatives.
• Proficiency with Docker and building CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable working with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue/React or similar frameworks).
• Familiarity with Git, testing frameworks, and agile methodologies.
• Bonus: experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), microservices architecture, or container orchestration (Kubernetes).
