Machine Learning Engineer

Our client is seeking a senior machine learning engineer to join our global data operations team. The ideal candidate will collect business requirements, prepare data sets, train, evaluate and deploy Machine Learning (ML) models, monitor their performance and retrain models if needed in the media (music, video and image domain). These models will help data operations team improve the user experience.

Key Qualifications

• 10+ years of machine learning industry experience
• Strong experience using machine learning tools, libraries, and frameworks such as scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, pytorch, mllib and others
• Excellent knowledge and experience in all major machine learning algorithms, statistical regression and deep learning included.
• Strong production experience training and evaluating ML models with proper pipelines and metrics
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL and different database technologies
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Description

This role will build the suite of Data, AI, and Machine Learning products, including, but not limited to, LLM and GenAI. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, use cases and business metrics - Work with data engineers to set up the data pipeline and prepare data sets for model building - Work with business domain experts to understand the data and create features for model training - Design, build, and evaluate models. Partner with the SRE team to deploy the models for inference. Monitor the models’ performance and re-train as needed - Communicate and explain the models to the business partners to secure adoption
