Business Intelligence Consultant (m/f)

Experis IT Luxembourg is actively looking for a Business Intelligence Consultant (m/f) for one of its clients in Luxembourg.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and analyzing business requirements to guide data solution design, including logical and physical data modeling.Creating testing strategies, including test program development and test data generation.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW), Data Lakes, Lakehouses, and advanced reporting applications and dashboards tailored to business needs.
• Implementing ETL/ELT processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading, along with applying data virtualization techniques.
• Designing data quality controls and system health monitoring processes.
• Designing hybrid system architectures for cloud, on-premises, and combined environments, optimizing database design and performance.
• Defining and maintaining data architecture frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Writing technical documentation, supporting deployment activities, and actively participating in project and cross-functional team meetings.

Profil

• Degree in computing or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business intelligence and data management.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools like SSIS, Talend, or Informatica.
• Proficient with major BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and BI-related services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Strong command of SQL and experience with other programming or scripting languages.
• Proven skills in data modeling for analytics and reporting purposes.
• Familiarity with relational and cloud databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and Snowflake.
• Solid understanding of Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures.
