Pensum: 60-100% (Homeoffice max. 2 Tage pro Woche)

We’re looking for a dynamic, solution-oriented professional to join our International Mail & Parcels Cluster. In this role, you’ll help bring our digital initiatives to life, driving innovation and value creation for Swiss Post customers around the globe. Are you ready to make a difference at the intersection of business, user needs, and technology? Do you thrive in a complex, agile environment and want to help shape impactful digital products that matter?
Your Responsibilities
As a Product Owner with strong Business Analysis skills, you play a central role in developing and evolving our integrated solutions. You'll ensure that requirements are well understood, prioritised, and implemented – contributing directly to Swiss Post’s success in international e-commerce logistics.
Product Ownership Focus
Collaborate with multiple Product Managers (PMs) to understand product visions and strategic directions across different domains.
Translate their inputs into a structured, prioritised backlog that reflects business goals and user needs.
Define iteration goals and ensure the delivery of valuable increments through close coordination with the development team.
Represent the team in stakeholder discussions, gathering insights, managing expectations, and communicating changes transparently.
Champion key topics in the team – even amid shifting priorities – by negotiating effectively and maintaining focus on business value.
Ensure backlog items are well-defined, technically feasible, and clearly understood, supporting the team throughout the delivery process.
Business Analysis Responsibilities
Analyse business needs and translate them into actionable user stories and functional requirements using workshops, interviews, and data analysis.
Model end-to-end processes, uncover redundancies, and identify opportunities for optimization – especially within API-driven service landscapes.
Independently explore technical issues using tools like API sandboxes, combining technical insight with UX/UI sensibility to shape holistic solutions.
Create high-quality documentation (epics, user stories, requirement specs) and define acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Contribute to operational reliability by co-designing systems that run 24/7 and supporting the DevOps team with oversight and coordination.
Establish shared understanding across Product Management, Consulting, and other PO teams, forming the basis for effective estimations and decisions.
Support the ongoing development of our agile DevOps culture and help shape the mindset and methods of our PROducts team.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in agile IT product development as a PO and/or BA in complex environments.
Ideally, certification such as PSPO I Product Owner™ I or comparable training in Product Ownership
Ideally, certification such as IREB (CPRE) or comparable training in Business Analysis.
Strong ability to manage competing priorities with persistence and stakeholder sensitivity.
Proven analytical and conceptual skills with a structured, proactive workstyle.
Hands-on experience working with APIs, including debugging in sandbox environments.
Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and their practical application.
Experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban); familiarity with legacy system replacements is a plus.
Fluent communication skills in German and English (min. B2); French is an advantage.
Very strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, and a curious mindset with a desire to learn and grow.
We’re looking for someone who combines technical understanding with a business perspective and drives progress – even when priorities shift. If you can lead with clarity, communicate with impact, and consistently deliver value, we look forward to your application.
