Senior Backend Engineer (C#)

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join our collaborative, multicultural team at Zenitech. In this high-impact role, you’ll be instrumental in modernizing and replatforming a corporate governance application suite, with a strong focus on adopting AWS-native technologies.

This unique opportunity allows you to balance ongoing maintenance with continuous research and development, introducing scalable backend systems built with .NET and modern cloud infrastructure. What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize backend services using .NET and C#
• Support replatforming and cloud migration to AWS using containerized infrastructure
• Maintain existing codebases while contributing to greenfield development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend, QA, and UX
• Integrate messaging systems (RabbitMQ) and manage MSSQL databases
• Contribute to code quality via testing, documentation, and CI/CD practices

Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development with .NET (preferably .NET 6+)
• Experience with MSSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub
• Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture (e.g., RabbitMQ)
• Good understanding of system design and performance tuning
• Reliability, independence, punctuality, accuracy
• Logical, problem-solving focused mindset
• Proficiency in written and spoken English

Nice to have frontend knowledge (Angular) and test automation tools (e.g., Playwright)
