A global technology services provider, specialising in the design, build, and delivery of structured cabling and connectivity solutions for enterprise environments, is seeking an experienced German-speaking Project Manager to take the lead on structured cabling projects in data centres and financial workplace environments, including high-demand trading floors.

You'll be responsible for managing both project and business-as-usual (BAU) activities for financial services and banking end clients, with a strong focus on service delivery, operational efficiency, and team leadership.

This role is based in Zurich and requires applicants to already be based in Switzerland or hold a valid right to work. Relocation or visa sponsorship is not available.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Acting as the lead interface between the company and financial services clients for structured cabling and infrastructure delivery
• Managing multiple structured cabling projects across data centres and trading floors – from planning through to completion
• Overseeing BAU technical operations across client sites and ensuring performance meets or exceeds agreed SLAs
• Producing financial and operational reports for internal and client stakeholders
• Driving continuous improvement across service delivery and support operations
• Coordinating internal and client meetings, acting as the go-to point for all project and operational updates
• Enforcing HSEQ compliance and ensuring documentation aligns with internal and client QA standards
• Leading, mentoring, and developing onsite support and engineering teams
• Managing supply chain relationships, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

• Fluent in German or Swiss German
• Based in Switzerland with existing right to work
• Strong background in structured cabling project management, ideally within live data centre or trading floor environments
• Previous experience working with enterprise clients in banking or financial services
• Confident managing technical teams and overseeing multiple concurrent projects
• Skilled in financial and operational reporting
• Understanding of ITIL-based service environments and service delivery metrics
• Clear leadership qualities and a track record of developing teams

Desirable:

• Certifications such as ITIL, PRINCE2, or BICSI (e.g., RCDD)
• Experience in client-facing roles within mission-critical infrastructure or financial services
