2D Game artist

We are looking for a passionate and talented 2D Game Artist to join our creative team and help bring our game worlds to life. As a 2D Game Artist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality visual assets that align with the overall artistic vision and enhance the player experience. You will work closely with game designers, developers, and other artists to create engaging characters, environments, UI elements, and 2d animations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality 2D assets including Backgrounds, Game Icons, Backgrounds, Props, Symbols, and UI elements.

  • Conceptualize and design assets, and that align with the game's artistic vision.

  • Develop concept art and iterate based on feedback from the art director or game leads.

  • Ensure game assets are optimized for performance while maintaining high visual fidelity.

  • Maintain consistency and quality across all animations and art assets.

  • Collaborate with designers and developers to maintain visual consistency across the game.

  • Produce animated sprites and frame-by-frame animations (if applicable).

  • Maintain organized files and asset libraries for development use.

Requirements

  • Experience as a 2D Game Artist in the gaming industry or related projects.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Spine, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of color theory, composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.

  • Ability to adapt to various art styles and follow visual guidelines.

  • Experience with 2d animation and sprite sheets is a plus.

  • A good team player with collaboration skills.
