Middle Quality Assurance Engineer

Forte Group has an open position for the Middle QA Engineer who will be responsible for developing manual tests for business high-priority scenarios. You should be both independent and an enthusiastic team player, have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and close attention to detail.

Project description

Forte Team develops an exclusive membership portal (like private Facebook) for successful entrepreneurs, investors, and top executives who help each other to improve their investment acumen, tackle common issues of wealth preservation, understand estate planning options, and share ideas on philanthropic endeavors.

Using this portal users could send messages, create online and offline events, raise up topics on forum, and attend meetings with members around the world.

Team structure

Team members use Jira to generate backlog and prioritize items, Confluence - for documentation, QMetry – for test management, test report, and test execution tracking. Communication mainly consists of daily stand-up meetings, planning meetings, retrospectives, and interpersonal communication. Team members use Slack, MS Teams, and Zoom. The team follows Scrum and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Test new features and functionalities on the web and mobile
• Perform test execution on both API and UI levels
• Create and manage test documentation
• Cooperate with the Dev team and PO to analyze and determine requirements to resolve defects effectively
• Support the full cycle of defect tracking

Qualifications and Skills

• 2-4 years of experience in test execution, test design, and managing test documentation
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, desire to learn new technologies, meet challenges, and bring deliverables
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, analyzing datasets
• Robust experience in API testing using Postman
• Knowledge and understanding of HTTP and REST
• Knowledge of browser DevTools
• Knowledge and experience in Mobile Testing of Native apps
• Basic knowledge of JS would be a plus
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher
