Product Designer

We're looking for a talented Product Designer to work on a Melbourne grown, global product!

Our client is an innovative, Melbourne-based startup expanding across the world including USA, New Zealand and the Middle East. They have a great culture with a friendly and talented team of around 20 people. They prefer people to work from their office in St Kilda as it’s a communicative and collaborative environment.

ROLE

As their Product Designer, you'll work collaboratively with the product and engineering teams to shape the UI design of the hardware interfaces as well as the online customer experiences. This is a hands-on role where you'll have significant input into product direction and user experience in a small and nimble team.

You’ll be involved in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for intuitive digital experiences. You’ll contribute to the design system and continue to implement design best practices whilst being an advocate for all the user types throughout the product development cycle.

YOU

• 3+ years of experience in product design roles
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your design thinking and process
• Skill with industry-standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.)
• Industry experience working in fast-paced and agile startup environments
• You're comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to articulate your design decisions
