Gen AI Engineer

About the Role:

As a Senior Engineer in the Generative AI domain, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge Gen AI solutions that transform how we deliver value to customers and colleagues.

You will work across squads to build scalable, secure, and responsible AI systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Gen AI models and pipelines using LLMs, GANs, VAEs, and transformer-based architectures.
• Develop agentic solutions and contribute to the Gen AI platform ecosystem (e.g., GenAI Studio, Secure Studio, Assistant, Gateway)
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate business needs into AI-powered solutions.
• Lead technical design discussions and mentor junior engineers in best practices for Gen AI development.
• Ensure responsible AI practices including fairness, transparency, and privacy guardrails
• Contribute to the development of reusable components, templates, and cookbooks for internal Gen AI use cases

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with full-stack development
• Hands-on experience with Gen AI frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, OpenAI APIs).
• Deep understanding of foundational models, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning techniques
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps practices.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver Gen AI solutions at scale in production environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in fraud detection, customer personalization, or conversational AI is a plus
• Familiarity with agent-based architectures and multi-agent orchestration
• Exposure to AI governance, compliance, and ethical AI frameworks.
