Full Stack Engineer

Snellium is a young Belgian start-up founded by two former university researchers. We specialize in optical metrology, developing quality control solutions for the glass inspection market utilizing state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms and methods. Our focus on R&D activities sets us apart, offering clients innovative optical diagnostics tailored to their industrial needs, providing higher accuracy and/or precision than existing optical quality inspection solutions.

We are currently seeking a full stack developer to join our team and contribute to building the next-generation optical metrology solution.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and test new features in our software platform, including back-end features (mechanical and optical hardware control, processing pipelines) in C++ and front-end features (configuration, data visualization) in JavaScript;
• Support end-to-end testing and CI pipelines;
• Participate in code reviews and documentation redaction.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software development or computer engineering fields;
• Knowledge of the C++ language and common related tools;
• Knowledge of web development, using JavaScript, React and Node.js;
• Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of French is a plus;
• Willingness to relocate to Brussels, Belgium, or its suburbs.
