Location: Schaerbeek, Belgium (Hybrid – 1-2 days/week onsite)

Languages: English, French & Dutch (good knowledge)

Contract duration: until 31/12/2025 (with possibility of extension)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the correct and qualitative implementation of the stories
• You communicate efficiently with the various stakeholders (business/functional analysts, solution architect) so that they perfectly understand the priorities of the tasks.
• You make sure that your code is fully covered with unit tests.
• You will provide automated integration tests and work together with the other team members on the E2E tests.
• You actively participate in refinements to work out a good solution together with the team.
• You are able to make technical improvement proposals and defend them to the solution architect.
• You analyze integrations with other parties and systems.
• You take non-functional requirements into account when developing the solution
• You are able to work out the technical design.
• You will work together with infrastructure employees to install the applications and monitor their operation.
• You document your software thoroughly, without getting bogged down in details.

Requirements:

• OracleDB, PostgreSQL, Java 8+, Java EE7, Quarkus
• Jenkins (pipelines), ArgoCD, Openshift, Docker, Gitlab
• You have experience in the development and application maintenance of enterprise-class systems.
• Experience with (Weblogic) Application servers (WLSTs, Clustering, Deploying, ...)
• You have knowledge of the following tools and technologies: IntelliJ, Postman, Maven, Git, Jenkins, Cucumber, Jira, K6, Grafana.
• You are agile by nature and you are therefore willing to fully participate in the scrum story.
• Knowledge of other languages and/or scripting is a plus (e.g. Gherkin, Groovy, ...)
• Knowledge of low code development (OutSystems) is a plus.
