Freelance Opportunity – Senior Project Manager | EU Nationality required

📍 Location: Remote-first (occasional travel to Paris for key meetings)

🛠 Project Overview

We are supporting an EU institution in identifying a Senior Project Manager to oversee high-impact programmes in the financial/public sector domain. The role will be predominantly remote, with periodic onsite presence in Paris for strategic meetings.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex projects using PM² and PRINCE2 methodologies
• Oversee planning, resource allocation, and risk management
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination and stakeholder communication
• Monitor deliverables and progress using JIRA or similar project tracking tools
• Ensure project milestones are delivered on time and to expected quality standards

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in project management roles, ideally in public sector or regulated environments
• Strong practical experience with PM², PRINCE2, and JIRA
• Proven ability to manage remote teams and complex stakeholder environments
• Excellent communication and reporting skills

🎓 Education & Certifications

• University degree in a relevant field
• Mandatory certifications:
• PM²
• PRINCE2
