Data Scientist - LLMs, RAG, & Prompt Engineering

*Please note that this is a 6 month Fixed Term contract*

We’re looking for a Data Scientist with hands-on expertise in retraining large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and prompt engineering to power next-generation analytics and user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Retrain and fine-tune LLMs to improve predictive analytics and decision-making.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines to enhance information retrieval and response accuracy.
• Design, test, and iterate on prompts for LLM-powered applications.
• Integrate LLM agents with machine learning and deterministic processes for seamless seller experiences.
• Build and manage efficient data pipelines in Snowflake.
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights.
• Work with business teams to translate data findings into impactful actions.
• Uphold data quality, integrity, and security.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience as Data Scientist or ML Engineer.
• Proven experience retraining and fine-tuning LLMs, with strong prompt engineering skills.
• Practical knowledge of RAG architectures and AI agent development.
• Expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar for machine learning and analytics.
• Experience with Power BI for dashboards and reporting.
• Familiarity with Azure ML, Azure Data Lake, and Databricks.
• Clear communicator, able to explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
• ServiceNow experience is a plus.
