About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 3 years in DevOps or cloud infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for setting up and managing multi-region cloud infrastructure (US & Europe) with a strong emphasis on data sovereignty and GDPR compliance.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on infrastructure automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-region cloud architecture to support data sovereignty (US and EU separation)
• Ensure all systems are compliant with data privacy regulations, including GDPR
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support fast, safe deployments
• Set up monitoring and alerting systems using Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools
• Work closely with development and security teams to enforce cloud security best practices
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents and performance issues

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on DevOps/cloud infrastructure experience
• Strong experience with AWS or GCP (multi-region, production environments)
• Proven ability to architect cloud infrastructure with data sovereignty in mind
• Solid experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Proficiency in monitoring/observability tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus)
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Strong grasp of networking, containers, and cloud security principles
• Deep understanding of GDPR and other relevant data privacy regulations
• Fluent English (spoken and written); French is a strong advantage
