Job Description:

The Chief Security Office's (CSO) mission is to protect Deutsche Bank's business, clients, assets, and employees. Within the Chief Security Office, the External Engagement Team is globally responsible for managing interactions with key stakeholders, including regulators, clients, analysts, investors and boards. Our work is crucial to build and maintain trust and through that enable and support the bank´s business.


The Regulatory & Client Response team covers CSO´s Regulatory Response & Audit Engagement, Regulatory Adherence, Regulatory Horizon & Advocacy and Client Response. As part of this global team, you will manage CSO´s engagements in close collaboration with the responsible Regional CISO teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other key stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the regulatory response and regulatory adherence process.
  • Contribute to the management of client engagements.
  • Oversee your team´s book of work and handle evolving priorities and escalations including early awareness and transparent communication.
  • Provide regional leadership in proactively supporting the Global Head of CSO External Engagement, ensure alignment and progress across strategic deliverables.
  • Closely collaborate with the Regional CISO teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and senior management within CSO as well as from other relevant functions and divisions to prepare and deliver regulatory and client engagements.
  • Ensure defined process standards, timeliness and consistent messaging.
  • Lead and provide input to relevant project work across the full scope of the wider External Engagement team, e.g., for enhanced knowledge management.
  • Support your manager in the identification and development of talent.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and focus continuous improvement.
  • Build out partnerships for effective collaboration including defined engagement models in TDI and with other regulatory management functions and interfaces across Deutsche Bank.


Skills

  • Extensive experience in regulatory engagement in the financial services industry and with the management of stakeholders and clients.
  • Good knowledge of and keen interest in Information Security and related domains.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the relevant regulatory environment.
  • Good leadership and influencing skills in a complex and changing domain.
  • Good analytical skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced global environment and to keep up with technical innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work with stakeholders at senior levels.
  • High-quality approach, also under time pressure and with evolving priorities. Flexible and professional handling of multiple critical tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to establish trustful partnerships. An enthusiastic, curious, and positive attitude. Willingness to take on responsibility with a hands-on approach and high reliability.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills in multi-disciplinary settings. Ability to achieve results both independently and collaboratively in virtual global teams.
