Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager / PMO to lead high-impact, multi-disciplinary programmes within a global banking environment. You will establish strategic governance, manage large-scale initiatives, and drive excellence in program delivery using a mix of Agile and traditional methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver enterprise-wide transformation programmes with clear value outcomes.
- Define and drive PMO functions, including governance frameworks, reporting standards, and risk/issue escalation.
- Align programme delivery with business and regulatory goals in a high-stakes financial environment.
- Build and lead cross-functional teams, managing competing priorities and interdependencies.
- Oversee RFIs/RFPs and business case development, ensuring commercial viability and strategic alignment.
- Create and execute cutover and transition plans to ensure operational continuity.
Your Expertise
- Programme Leadership: Proven track record delivering large, complex programmes across banking and financial services.
- PMO Design & Execution: Built PMO functions from the ground up, driving standardization, governance, and control.
- Strategic Governance: Created executive-level governance structures enhancing transparency and delivery assurance.
- Commercial Acumen: Led strategic sourcing efforts (RFIs/RFPs), including SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
- Methodologies: Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, SAP Activate, ASAP across SAP ECC6, S/4HANA, Salesforce, Oracle Retail.
- Tools Proficiency: Skilled in CA Clarity PPM, ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, HP QC, Smartsheets, and MS Project.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in Programme/Project Management and PMO roles.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, especially in a matrixed, global financial services setting.
- Experience managing regulatory and compliance-driven programmes (e.g., Basel III, ESG, AML).
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum Master are advantageous.
