Join Us in Building Lifesaving Digital Solutions

The Company:

Laerdal Medical is a global leader in training and therapy products for emergency medicine and critical care. Our solutions are used by hospitals, ambulance services, first aid organizations, and educational institutions worldwide. We are a dynamic, multicultural organization driven by a shared mission: helping save 1,000,000 more lives every year by 2030.

WHY do we need YOU?:

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our team in Stavanger to help build and scale LIFT—a digital service delivering high-quality Learning, Improvement, Facilitation, and Training activities in healthcare.

LIFT has been developed by Laerdal Global Health (LGH), a nonprofit sister company of Laerdal Medical, and will be carried forward through a strong collaboration between the software teams in both companies.

For over 15 years, LGH has worked toward the vision that no one should die or be disabled unnecessarily during childbirth in low resource settings, with a goal of saving an additional 700,000 lives annually by 2030. LIFT is already contributing to measurable impact through the Safer Births initiative (https://saferbirths.com), with national-scale implementation underway in Tanzania and early-stage rollouts in Nigeria. In Nepal, LGH is also supporting UNICEF and the Ministry of Health in Nepal to integrate LIFT into a national in-hospital quality improvement program.

To scale this impact globally, we need your expertise.
