Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive HSE programs to ensure a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

• Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs aligned with UAE regulations and international standards
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
• Lead and manage the HSE team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure effective performance
• Collaborate with department heads to integrate HSE practices into all aspects of the organization's operations
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement preventive measures
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees at all levels
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards
• Prepare and present HSE performance reports to senior management and stakeholders
• Manage HSE budgets and resources effectively
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends to continuously improve the organization's HSE performance
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the construction, oil and gas, or manufacturing industries
• In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws and HSE regulations
• Proficiency in health and safety management systems and environmental management practices
• Strong understanding of international HSE standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
• Excellent risk assessment and mitigation skills
• Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures
• Strong project management and data analysis capabilities
• Outstanding leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in HSE data analysis and reporting tools
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
